Since taking control of the BenRiach Distillery, Speyside, in 2004, revered whisky maverick has transformed it from predominantly producing whisky for blends, to one of the most prolific single malt whisky producers in the nation.
Following the success of various age statement releases created under Billy’s ownership comes the very first cask strength batch release from the distillery. Bottled at an astonishing 57.2% ABV it embodies classically voluptuous BenRiach style – with added punch!
